Short Bio: After graduating in Business Administration Engineering at the Engineering Faculty, Bologna University, in 1998. Then I did some consulting experience at the same time founding an Internet company too late to become millionaire. In 2002 I resumed my studies based on my experience with some open source projects. Now my main interest is to investigate the signs that may be translated from the open source evolutionary experience to other fields of the knowledge economy. |

Projects: 1. Developing the paths illustrated in the paper "We Want Security but we hate it". Trying to investigate the surveillance stream that is flowing inside our society and that is going to redefine how we build relationships in the near future. Maybe it will be necessary to go beyond the privacy concept and to invent some new ones. (Esiear said than done..). To this regard the work on understanding the consequences of 'Trusted Computing' is very important (thanks to Ross Anderson for his work) you can see the 'Trusted Computing' faq here (in italian here). In respect of the comprehension of the evolutionary processes in the economics and social field, the cooperation with Dr. Ferdinando Cerbone is of great value as well (he is the President of the Reichian Studies Center Coevoluzione, Bologna, Italy. |

2. Developing the website www.complessita.it that I own together with Dr. Daniela Conti, biologist. Daniela is workiing hard on talks and papers on the risk of the reductionist approach to biology and I'm very happy to be collaborating with her. |

3. Some consulting on open source tools, especially web applications, just because It is better to have one foot in on solid ground. It is a great help for verifying theories (furthermore my bankaccount tells me it is necessary..) |
